Globalization in today’s society is considered the norm as its becoming more and more the specific trend a given society. I believe that globalization is a good thing but also has negative impacts. Globalization can be incredibly empowering in various ways as it can enable people to share their unique individuality but can also cause cultures to tear apart. Globalization can bring tremendous opportunities and benefits to different cultures; it enables greater trade and competition between different economies which eventually leads to lower prices of goods and a greater efficiency in the economic growth. Globalization is also key for developing countries as it helps improve their economies and also offers them access to foreign capital, global export markets, and advanced technologies. Lastly, globalization compels businesses to adapt to different strategies which are based on new trends that are occurring in the given society. The change allows for businesses to compete worldwide and gives the workers a chance to experience different things wherever they work.
